Today is one of those days, when I feel like doing something a little extra.
I recently got the Essence matt eyes make up box.
Something about it caught my eye.
The packaging is pink with brown details on it.

When you open it there is a mirror and below you can see the shadows.
When I chose this makeup box the colours of the shadows really caught my eye. As I already mentioned, I am getting excited.
They were so earthy and warm, the right neutral colours to be use as an everyday palette.
The shadows left to right: Chai latter, creme fatale, hello hazel, sugarcoated, go choco and tearose.

Behind the mirror there is this little section that says look here, at first I was like wait can I take the mirror out? After failing horribly I got my trusty tweezers.
Behind the mirror was 2 copies of a step by step tutorial. They are called the rosy matt look and brown matt look. I happily chose the rosy matt tutorial for this look.

The brush is a bit hard when you feel it, so honestly I didn’t use it.
Here you can see the look I did with the palette and the instructions I received.

The shadows are really matte and very smooth like baby powder.
The colours took a while to appear I had to build it up on my lid.
I find it a nice palette to do your everyday eyes for a lower budget, I do recommend it.
I got this palette at Kruidvat for €5.99
It wasn’t much, I found it very useful that they had the 2 tutorial cards, the tutorial steps are also in 6 different languages.

 For this look:
Essence Matt eyes makeup box.
Essence liquid pen eyeliner (waterproof)
I also did a post about the all eyes on me mascara.
If you haven’t seen it click the link above.
Hope you enjoyed it!
